CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A new mentoring program could help thousands of school children across Ohio. Representatives from schools, businesses, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations met Thursday afternoon, Dec. 4, to learn about Community Connectors. The plan includes $10 million in state aid used as matching grants for local mentoring programs. Schools must have a 40 percent low income population for their children to be eligible.
